RUSH

Album concept, photography, booklet design & print delivery

Rollercoaster with smoke

RUSH was my first major project as an Art Director, and I handled it from start to finish. I developed the concept, directed the photoshoot, designed the booklet, and delivered the final print files. Working with Mike Singer, I told a story about youthful spontaneity and the “rush” of early-twenties life. The creative task was to mature his image to match his personal growth while keeping it relatable for a younger audience.
With a tight budget and schedule, we shot at Europa-Park. I coordinated pyrotechnics, fire safety, a BTS crew, Universal’s marketing, and park production—timed to five planned takes. To maximize impact within constraints, I repurposed earlier social images (also shot by me) into themed sections that tied the booklet together. Seeing RUSH in stores afterwards was a real milestone.
